Answers to some common questions about Voiceover work.

  1. I only need a 30 second voicemail recording. Is that too small a job?
    Actually, many jobs are short and quick. Voicemail recordings for businesses and short 30 second commercials are quite common. No job is too small.
  2. I have already written out a script. Will you record what I have put together?
    Yes! You know your business and your needs better than anyone else. It is actually best when you develop your own script and then just have me perform the actual audio recording. If you do not have a script, keep in mind we do offer Script Writing and Script Assistance as well.
  3. I understand you are in California. My company is located in New York. Can you still do my voiceover job?
    Certainly. In this business, location is not important in most situations. We have recorded audio for clients all around the globe. You email or fax your script and direction notes to us. The recording is made here in our studios and returned to you via email, Internet download, or overnight UPS / Fedex delivery.
  4. How long does it typically take to record a 30 second spot?
    The entire process is usually very quick. Basically, you can email us your script along with any notes. We record the voiceover work here and return it to you via email, Internet download, or FTP. File formats include mp3, wav, AIFF, ulaw, and many more. We also offer full CD mastering. The file is returned to you ready to drop into your final Project.
  5. I understand you do some PSAs for charitable organizations at a reduced rate. How do we arrange this?
    This is true. We do some PSA work at a very reduced rate for certain organizations. Please contact us with your particular job requirements.
  6. What if I want a Retake?
    Re-takes are done at no charge. There is a small fee for rewrites, script changes, done after delivery of your proof (watermarked) approval audio.
  7. Can I get a demo, custom read of my script?
    Of course! Just send along your script with any notes as to how you would like it read. Be sure to phonetically spell out any long, unusual, or technical words. Check out our Script Submission Tips here. Demos are done at no charge. Demos are delivered with an audio watermark (set of beeps) placed within the recording. This digital water mark is not present on the final delivered recording.
